I Vote for Democrats. I am a liberal, I have progressive values, and I say it with pride. I am voting for Democrats in the election this year, and I am doing it with pride. I do it because I care, and I cannot stand by and not support the people and the party that is working for me. There are things that I want from my president and party, and there are things that I expect they can actually deliver. As long as the gap between the two continues to get smaller, I will continue to wholeheartedly support the President and our party.
When I watch all of the nasty ads on TV and see the narrow minded, hateful signs at GOP rallies I know that I am not voting for the "lesser of two evils". I am not voting against the hate and the ignorance and the selfishness of the Republican party. I am voting for everything that they are against because it is the right thing to do. The right thing for women. For the middle class. For minorities. For the poor. For the planet. For the sick. For veterans. For marriage equality. For civil rights.
For what is right.
